Poetry, TX was founded in 1845 as Turner’s Point and later renamed for the beauty of its spring landscape. For generations, families here have upheld the values of hard work, faith, and independence. In 2020, an overwhelming majority of residents voted to incorporate Poetry to protect our way of life from outside influences and overdevelopment—not to change it.

True Facts Poetry S-PAC is dedicated to preserving the small-town charm, rural values, and agricultural heritage that define Poetry. Unfortunately, as with any close-knit community, rumors and misinformation can spread quickly, and lately, unfounded gossip about the Town of Poetry has been creating unnecessary division.

Let’s set the record straight: Poetry is and will remain a small, rural town rooted in faith, family, and tradition. Don’t let rumors take away from what makes our town great. Together, we can keep Poetry strong, united, and true to its heritage.
